Come celebrate Electrical and Computer Engineering during Northeastern University’s Engineers Week!

FEBRUARY 21, 2017 Meet the Wireless Club 10:30 am - 11:30 am | 9 Hayden Hall

Meet Electrical and Computer Engineering’s Wireless Club Students, a group dedicated to learning electronics with a hands-on approach by working on projects in members exclusive lab space and a full amateur radio station.

Robotics Open House 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm | 240 Egan Research Center Meet The Field Robotics group as they present their autonomous car, unmanned aerial systems and data collection methods and learn why and how this research is important. The Field Robotics group in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department works on Autonomous Cars, Unmanned Aerial Systems and Marine Autonomous Systems. They use their robots in deployments all over the world. Students have been to the Arctic, Greenland, Antarctic and a number of places in between. The robots are used to look at problems of high social relevance, including sea ice studies for climate change, to help fisheries managers understand the ecosystem and to build algorithms for cars driving in extreme conditions of rain and snow. For visitors outside of the Northeastern University, registration is required www.ece.neu.edu/rsvp/robotics
