Following the race Mr Alex Ferguson reported that PUSHKIN MUSEUM (IRE), placed fourth, hung righthanded throughout and Mrs Dawn Scott reported that CHICAGO SCHOOL (IRE), unplaced, reared as the stalls opened and missed the break. Race 2 - 6:30pm. THE OCEAN COLOUR SCENE AT WOLVERHAMPTON AUGUST 31ST HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5)

Following the race Tom Eaves reported that NEWSTEAD ABBEY, placed eighth, was denied a clear run for some distance approaching the 1 furlong marker. Race 3 - 7:00pm. THE WEATHERBYS GLOBAL STALLIONS APP HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5)

On leaving the stalls ARCHIE (IRE), placed fifth, jumped awkwardly and shortly afterwards was tightened for room when PHOSPHORESCENCE (IRE), placed sixth, shifted right-handed at the same time as ENERGIA FLAVIO (BRZ), placed fourth edged slightly left-handed but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of either horse.

Following the race the Veterinary Officer reported that TAI SING YEH (IRE), placed seventh, lost its right fore shoe. Race 4 - 7:30pm. THE WOLVERHAMPTON HOLIDAY INN HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6)

An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when BERLUSCA (IRE), placed third, ridden by Robert Winston, interfered with DREAM FREE, placed seventh, ridden by Danny Brock, which in turn interfered with GEALACH GHORM (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Gabriele Malune. Winston was cautioned for careless riding as he had switched left when not sufficiently clear of DREAM FREE carrying that runner off its intended line, which resulted in GEALACH GHORM (IRE) suffering a slight check. Following the race Robert Winston reported that BERLUSCA (IRE), placed third, moved poorly and hung left-handed in the home straight. The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of BERLUSCA (IRE) found the gelding to be slightly lame right fore. Josephine Gordon reported that GALA CELEBRATION (IRE), placed sixth, ran too freely, and Shane Kelly reported that BARCA (USA), unplaced, suffered interference at the start. Race 5 - 8:00pm. THE CRUISING WITH SHERBORNE WHARF HERITAGE NARROWBOATS HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6)

Following the race the Veterinary Officer reported that BERKSHIRE SPIRIT, placed third, lost its right fore shoe. Race 6 - 8:30pm. THE ON THE HOOF DINING IN THE HOTEL RESTAURANT MAIDEN STAKES (CLASS 5)

Permission was given for MISS DUSKY DIVA (IRE) to go early to post. AIR MINISTRY (IRE), placed fourth, was unruly in the parade ring where it kicked out at the running rail and again going out on to the track. The gelding was examined by a veterinary surgeon at the start and deemed fit to run.
