Race 1 - 5:45pm. THE FCL GLOBAL FORWARDING APPRENTICE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6)

An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after leaving the stalls when THAMA, unplaced, ridden by Milly Naseb, interfered with BIRDETTE (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Andrew Breslin, which in turn interfered with CAPTAIN KISSINGER, placed fifth, ridden by Poppy Bridgwater. Being 7lb claimers, Breslin and Bridgwater were offered the opportunity to have someone accompany them in the enquiry, but declined. Naseb was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as she had allowed her mount to drift lefthanded when insufficiently clear of BIRDETTE (IRE), tightening that runner onto CAPTAIN KISSINGER, which was checked. Approaching 8½ furlongs out, there was interference between DON'T CRY ABOUT IT (IRE), placed seventh, KINGFAST (IRE), placed fourth, and BIRDETTE (IRE), placed sixth, which were all racing freely due to the slow early pace and resulted in BIRDETTE (IRE) having to be checked, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved. Following the race, Stephen Cummins reported that APPENZELLER (USA), placed second, reared and bumped its head in the stalls. Race 2 - 6:15pm. THE FCL GLOBAL FORWARDING NOVICE MEDIAN AUCTION STAKES (CLASS 6)

Nothing to report Race 3 - 6:45pm.

An enquiry was held following a report from the Veterinary Officer that the record of vaccinations in the passport of CAMPION, trained by Philip Kirby, had been altered. The trainer and the Veterinary Officer were interviewed. Having heard their evidence, Kirby was fined £80 and the matter was referred to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority. Race 4 - 7:15pm. THE FCL GLOBAL FORWARDING HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5)

Nothing to report Race 5 - 7:45pm. THE FCL GLOBAL FORWARDING MAKING LOGISTICS PERSONAL HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6)

CRUISE TOTHELIMIT (IRE) wore earplugs which were removed at the start. Barry McHugh, the rider of FUEL INJECTION, was unseated leaving the stalls. The rider and the Starter were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident. It was found that no other horse or rider was involved and the incident was caused by FUEL INJECTION anticipating the start and accelerating the gate at the same moment as the race had been started, causing the gelding to hit its head on the stalls and jump very awkwardly which resulted in McHugh being unseated, having become unbalanced. Following the race, Toby Eley reported that FRANK THE BARBER (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away. Race 6 - 8:15pm. THE FCL GLOBAL FORWARDING NOVICE STAKES (CLASS 5)

Following the race, Oisin Murphy reported that the winner, COUNT OCTAVE, jumped left-handed leaving the stalls.
