Helge Hummelvoll Scholarship (tuition) Given to a photojournalist from outside the United States in memory of Helge Hummelvoll, a Norwegian photojournalist killed while on assignment in Sudan, Africa. Jack and Dorothy Fields Scholarship (tuition) Given to a photojournalist from Asia or the South Pacific, honoring longtime photojournalist Jack Fields and his writer wife, Dorothy. Missouri Press Association Scholarship (tuition and housing) Given to a participant who is a member (or whose organization is a member) of the Missouri Press Association. Please enclose proof of membership. Nikon Emerging Professional Scholarship (tuition) Awarded to an applying photographer who displays enthusiasm and a talent for a career in photojournalism. Bill & Duane Honorary Directors Scholarship (tuition and oatmeal) Given in honor of former co-directors Duane Dailey and Bill Kuykendall and funded by their friends. Awarded to an applicant with interests in photographing those who work with their hands in rural America.

• A portfolio with twenty (20) images. If prints, please no larger than 8x10; if CD, should be cross-platform.. This portfolio is used to evaluate applicants and will also be viewed by your faculty if you are selected to participate. More Info: • Workshop tuition is $600. Please include it with your application (payment will not be processed unless/until you are accepted.) • Nikon loaner cameras are available to check out. •Participants are responsible for their own food and lodging. • Apply now - we may accept applicants who meet the workshop criteria as we receive them - but scholarships will not be awarded until August 1. • No refunds after September 1, 2012.
