MEMBER OF THE MONTH - Congratulations Conal O'Sullivan This guy is absolute star! He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and we love having him part of our Yfamily. Checkout his story below Hi, I’m Conal and 26yrs young. Thanks Karen Chrisakis for nominating me as the member of the month! My journey with the ‘Y’ started only January this year. I don’t have any extraordinary fitness/weight loss story to share (I love my food too much), however I can attest to the fabulous work of the Y staff and group fitness classes in particular. Prior to joining the Y I was mostly weight training and had lost my passion for cardio. My partner encouraged me to join the Y and attend the group fitness classes; at first I was concerned about the prospect of doing a ‘non-blokey’ workout as I walked past the testosterone-filled weights room to join a predominantly oestrogen-filled group. I was nervous when I stepped into the group fitness room but soon felt very welcomed... I’m so glad I went! I always leave classes full of sweat, sleep like a baby, and feel refreshed the following day. I’m also less likely to drop my workout early, and the instructors do an exceptional job to keep me motivated and coming back every chance I get. A special thanks to Karen Chrisakis (to my right) who has been instrumental to me in meeting my fitness goals. Also, huge thanks to other trainers Leah, Kim and James, Jacinta and Sophie, and cheers to Clint and Gary at the front desk who consistently greet me with a huge smile and hello each time I enter the Y. What an inspiration Conal is to us at the Y! #This is Y we do what we do

Please share & pass on to your family members that might be interested!
