You are Not Forgotten! Monthly Newsletter – January, 2018

One of the toughest things in life is being forgotten by the ones we love and care about. Sadly enough, there are lots of people who feel the same way about their God! They’ve been praying and praying and it seems like God has forgotten them, because there has been no answer to their prayers. Well, let me remind you of some wonderful Scriptures on the subject! We read Psalms 111:4-5, “He has made his miracles unforgettable. The LORD is merciful and compassionate. He provides food for those who fear him. He always remembers his promise.” (GW) It’s clear in this passage that God has our back! The last thing that could possibly happen to any of us is to be forgotten by our God! God has caused His miracles to be unforgettable, so every time we don’t get an answer right away we can remember what kind of God we serve. He will always keep His promises towards you and I! Even if we think we have little, we read Psalms 37:16-18, “The little that the righteous person has is better than the wealth of many wicked people…but the LORD continues to support righteous people…The LORD knows the daily struggles of innocent people. Their inheritance will last forever.” (GW) God will remember us forever; end of story!!!

God is well aware of our struggles, and they come just to get us on track towards the place we need to be spiritually. So, let’s take the advice of King David and his wise son in Pro 3:6, “Listen for GOD's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he's the one who will keep you on track. Pro. 16:3, “Turn to the LORD for help in everything you do, and you will be successful.” If there is something you are not, it is forgotten! Be encouraged and go for the goals and dreams you have for this year; your God will make sure that you will succeed, because He has never forgotten you and I! In Him, Pr. Paul
