Set Up •  All players are in a tight grid and all have a ball. •  Players move about randomly but generally stay in same spot. Restrictions •  Players do the move between 3 pendulum touches •  Must do exercise perfect and as fast as possible •  Evolve to 15 second rest between and 30 second work. •  Evolve to double time speed for 15 seconds. •  At end incorporate a medley or assorted or grand finally. •  Keep it simple – don’t do too many at one session. •  Get 4 or 5 mastered before you move on. •  Promote the players to memorize the names Coaching Points •  bend knees •  ball of foot touches ball •  muscles should be firm and in control (don’t be floppy or stiff) •  look around for vision

FAST  FOOTWORK  WITHOUT  PENDULUM     1.  Out  backs  switching  feet  with  shoe  laces  and  sole  (straight  in  front)   2.  One  footed  V’s  to  the  side  opening  hips   3.  Switch  feet  Vs  in  front  of  body  but  out  to  sides   4.  Behind  the  back  V’s  –  one  footed  (planted  foot  comes  forward)   5.  Shuffles  not  going  forward  –  side  to  side  sliding  –  wide  legs   6.  Motorcycles  –  out  to  side  –  snap  back  in   7.  C.  Ronaldo  Scissors  –  around  it  push  it  w/opp  pinky  toe  -­‐  step  on  it
