Total camp area is 1,530,000m 2 , including facilities, roads, etc. as well as Phases and Transits currently under construction, but not Phase 6. Total population of the camp as of May 2013 is 40265. The average area per person is then 38m 2. UNHCR Handbook for Emergencies (2007) recommends a minimum of 30m 2 of surface area per person and this standard is overall met.
